The natural, holistic healing arts offer effective, safe approaches to wellness and disease prevention. In order
to really take charge of one’s healthcare, people need to learn more about these approaches and the people
who provide them. They also need to learn about the restrictive legal environment created to promote the
conventional medical system.

The IHFC can supply speakers to your club or organization. If, instead of a formal presentation at the club
meeting you would prefer to invite friends to your home to meet a speaker from the IHFC, we can provide
someone to share stories of healing on a very personal level.

IHFC speakers make lively presentations on the legal climate affecting Iowans’ access to wellness. They
describe why people need access to all the healing arts, not just conventional medical care, the reasons
Iowans do not have ready access to the full range of healing arts services, and the way the Iowa Access to
Wellness Act will improve access while providing individuals with the information they need in order to make
informed choices on their path to wellness.
