Trilby Sedlacek, AHG, Registered Herbalist
“My wish is for there to be equality and balance in the general field of health care.  That all healing
modalities will become respectful and supportive, conscious of each others’ special talents and value to the
larger picture of total health and well-being for all people.”

Trilby is a practicing clinical herbalist in Cedar Rapids Iowa.  She has been in private practice since 1990.  
Trilby has a degree in Humanistic Psychology, Graduate Training from the Univ. of Colorado at Boulder and
spent nearly 20 years in the mental health field before giving her full attention and time to the Natural health
field.

Trilby is the owner of Green Angels Herbs & Healing Arts, a retail center for natural products, educational
classes and materials.  Trilby is a Professional member of the American Herbalist Guild.  Currently the only
professional member in the State of Iowa.

She teaches herbal medicine in many locations.  Currently teaching classes in the Des Moines area, for
Kirkwood Community College Nurses Continuing Education Program, on Faculty at Eastwind School of
Healing and Massage in Iowa City, as well as her own herbal educational program at Green Angels Herbs
& Healing Arts.  Trilby also teaches at National Conferences, local and Statewide Special Events including
guest teaching for Coe College, the University of Iowa, and Sun Flower Healing Festival in Kansas City.

New efforts include writing for magazines and a focus on a first manuscript, along with a growing interest in
political maters such as the IHFC. She is also completing a massage therapy program.

Trilby lives with her husband and their two children Zach (15) and Tori Ann (10) in Linn County Iowa.
